A rare origin for stand-up, quality beans. We hope everyone tries this shade-grown, black-honey processed lot. The harvested cherries are slow-dried for at least 2 weeks under tarps, closely monitored & 95-100% of the mucilage is left on the beans. This adds a depth of flavor unique to this very meticulous processing method. And, have we mentioned that these beans are from Thailand!?! Exotic flavs! Medium roast notes: upfront, citric sweetness with good balance of spicy chocolate hints. Darker roasts produce a hefty cup: strong bakers chocolate, pipe tobacco & low acidity. This lot is very similar to our India Malabar. A world of finesse is required for us to enjoy these beans!
